Revised: 11 May 2009 - DVD produced by A1 Magical Media. DVD was released in March 2009. Material on DVD is about 10 years old. There has never been a contract for publishing rights. A1 Magical Media claims to have an "oral agreement" which is why they claim publishing rights. In our opinion, this "oral agreement" sounds extremely unlike Tommy and is a far too weak excuse to claim anything at all, 10(!) years after the recording was made and more than 2 years after his death. Therefore we regard this DVD as illegal. No contract = no contract.
We also urge distributors and dealers to stop selling this illegal DVD. |
